Today is a big day for my family because my kids are headed back to in-person school for the first time in over six months. It’s also a big day for me as a writer because I’m introducing my first book to the world. (!!!!!!)
Both of these things are causing a lot of big feelings over here so I might spend today laughing, crying and generally freaking out. This is very much on brand for me, probably, or at least expected…so here we go!
Send Me Into The Woods Alone: Essays on Motherhood is available for pre-sale RIGHT NOW. Here’s where you can place your order:

It’s also available via Jeff Bezos (cough) and through many awesome independent book retailers across North America (YAY).
Writing this book was hard work, but it was also an act of love. I hope every parent who reads it feels validated, understood and supported (or maybe sees a new perspective on the wildly variable journey that is motherhood). I hope it makes you laugh and brings you comfort during challenging times. I hope you enjoy it and share it with all of your mom friends.
Thank you so much for your support of my work and my dreams — I’m so grateful for everyone who has helped make this book happen. And please share this post to give my book a little love!
